This week we’re focusing on Burt’s Blue which is made by Burt’s Cheese in Cheshire. ![]()

Burt’s Blue is the flagship product of Burt’s Cheese, a soft mould ripened blue cheese. The ‘mouldy coat’ of each cheese can vary seasonally from darker ‘green and blues’ to paler ‘grey and blues’. Each cheese is pierced by hand during the ripening process to encourage and allow the growth of mild blue veins through the cheese.![]()

It’s perfect served at room temperature with a crisp spelt cracker spread with some lovely cherry fruit for cheese both made by The Fine Cheese Co. ![]()
