Opened in Late August 2025, by Amber Ryan, The Cheese and Cracker aims to provide high-quality, British-made goods to the people of Much Wenlock. Having scoured England and Wales for some of the most unique and delicious cheeses, the selection here is sure to have something to enhance every cheese board. With a prime focus on natural and sustainable ingredients, Amber has also sourced some amazing accompaniments such as Chutneys, Jams, Fresh Bread and more!

Neal’s Yard Creamery started in the 1970s as a collection of food businesses, who all shared the same goal, to bring simple, quality dairy products to British families. They began as a small shop stocking yogurt, crème fraiche and cheese. Today they work with about 40 cheesemakers from Britain and Ireland.

Caws Cenarth a cheesemaker based in West Wales. Their Golden Cenarth is Semi-soft organic cheese, which is washed in cider. It has a nutty yet unique savoury taste. Simon Weaver Organic pride themselves on long-lasting, sustainable farming methods to support the welfare of their herd and of the land. The Weaver family have been farming in the Cotswolds for the past three generations and in the southwest of England since before 1570. One of our newest cheesemakers, Burt’s Cheese, started out in early 2009 in Altrincham, Cheshire. However, after just one year, Claire Burt won gold at the International Cheese Show in Nantwich for Burt’s Blue!

We became Stockists of Proper Good Dairy’s Organic Whole Milk in November 2024; their Milk quickly became extremely popular and is now a staple in most Wenlock fridges.
